When you say the words “web video” or “web series,” most people think the word web is just a delivery platform, but we know the web is so much more. It’s dynamic, social, and interactive. In this presentation, Bernie will first demonstrate how his two Emmy winning interactive series utilized the “web” beyond delivering just a video series, but built out a vast story world for two interactive stories that could only be consumed on the web. Then he’ll demonstrate how his other web series have led to brand sponsorships and sales to traditional television.
Doors will open at approximately 9:45 AM for filmmaker check-in and general seating for our Featured Event at 10 AM.
Filmmakers of web series in the festival and their guests should check-in at our desk in the lobby to receive your badge, lanyard, & drink voucher (which can be used anytime during the day or saved for use during our Filmmaker Reception at 8 PM).
Our red carpet & backdrop will available throughout the day to have your photo taken by our photographer Cherelle Ashby or to take your own selfies. Use the hashtag #SWF2017 when posting to social media.
We encourage all attendees to pick up an official Seattle Web Fest Coffee Mug to take home a little piece of Seattle.
