In case you haven’t heard, big things are happening at Seattle Web Fest. As well as mixing into the SIFF family, we’re joining forces with TheFilmSchool and Shoreline Community College to bring you two more events before next summer. The first of which is happening in just a few weeks on October 14th from 12pm - 4pm.
Shoreline Community College () is our official venue partner for this event and we’re excited to spend the day in their new theater!
TheFilmSchool has put together two outstanding events-within-an-event including a “Positioning Your Web Series for Pickup” panel discussion and a round of "Web Series Speed Networking."
12 PM: "Positioning Your Web Series for Pickup" Panel
Industry executives give an insider look at how to market your web series to buyers.
Featuring:
- Tom Skerritt, Writer Director, Actor, and Founder of TheFilmSchool Seattle.
- Stacey Adams, Past Current Executive CBS Television on shows like Big Bang Theory and the CSI franchise.
- Diana Dotter, Producer of Feature Film, Television, and Web Series and Executive Director of TheFilmSchool Seattle.
1 PM: Best of SWF “NEAR” Series
Web Fest Fall will feature two screening blocks comprised of some of the best web series we’ve presented at Seattle Web Fest over the last three years.
The "Near" series will end with a Q&A with attending filmmakers.
2:15 PM: Speed Networking Event
Meet and greet with show creators & industry professionals including brief presentations from TheFilmSchool, Shoreline Community College, and SIFF.
3 PM: Best of SWF “FAR” Series
Featuring SWF Award-winning International Series from the last three years of Seattle Web Fest.
We're out of words to describe how excited we are to bring you these new events alongside our fantastic new partners TheFilmSchool, SIFF, and Shoreline CC, so instead, we'll just give you a button to buy tickets to Web Fest Fall.
